Meet REAL STEM Role Models

Ask Questions

Open to the Public

JASON connects youth with inspiring science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) role models via our live, interactive webcast series. Our role models put a human face on STEM careers, and show how STEM fundamentals students learn about in class are applied in real world situations. Each role model shares their passion for their field and their job, tells stories about the path they took to get where they are today, and provides details about their day-to-day experiences as scientists and engineers.

All of JASON’s live events are free and open to the public. Participants may submit questions for our STEM role model guests before and during each live event. Information on how to do so can be found on the landing page for each event. On-demand video archives of each live event are available for later viewing here and on JASON’s YouTube channel.

Preserving the Planet Web Series

We’re excited to partner with edWeb for the upcoming Live Event web series: Preserving the Planet, a free professional learning community that connects scientists with educators and students to help them learn about changes in the global environment and natural world, and what we can do to create a more sustainable future. JASON Live Event Host, Haley Nelson will be joined by scientists from JASON Learning curriculum and Argonaut Expeditions exploring different ecosystems from deserts to oceans to farms to islands and more.
